Cast & Crew

Welcome to our obligatory “About Us” page!

Laura & Leslie welcome you TheKnitGirllls blog. Here you can read & watch our adventures in knitting, spinning, and who knows what else! Click on the Episode List above if you’d like to watch from the beginning (video & audio quality does drastically improve as we advance)! Leave a comment if you enjoyed reading/watching – we love to hear from you!

Laura!

Leslie is writing this bio for Laura, muahaha!  So Laura is the tall blonde one of us.  She works for the school system and enjoys her job (most of the time).  She has been knitting since she was a child and loves to have a lot of items on the needles for variety.  You can find her designs here. She likes pirates, steampunk, musicals, and 80’s cartoons.  She is the RainMan of yarn.  You are not the boss of her.

Leslie!

Leslie is the short, brunette one of us. She works in I.T. in the gaming industry and that may or may not allow her some time to play on Ravelry during the day. She has a son nicknamed Jr. Awesome, and a fiance named Mr. Awesome. She likes the color red. She also sucks at writing bios and isn’t above a little snarkiness here and again. More on her later.

Mr. Awesome

Mr. Awesome fixes stuff for us when Leslie inevitably breaks it. He is awesome, thus the name. Sometimes he posts weather stuff on the site, but mostly he tries to pretend not to know it exists.

More added later as needed.

Hi y’all. I love everything about The Knit Girllls! Just wanted to mention an editing point (knowing that Leslie wouldn’t do it on purpose). In the second sentence of Laura’s bio, it says: “She’s works for the school system…” Nice to meet Mr. and Jr. Awesome. I was so looking forward to tonight’s podcast that I had to check out the website in case it hit here first. It starts my week off so great. Thanks so much.

I am loving you two ladies! My friend suggested your video-cast to me the other night at our knitting group and I have been overdosing on episodes! :) You both seems so down to earth and normal (as in not trying to be all better than everyone else because you have a video-cast blah blah blah stuff.) I think that is what makes y’all so great!!! Well that and the fact that you both are so funny! I am trying to find you on facebook and I can’t seem to locate your page. Are they individual or is it one page for The Knit Girllls?

  8. Cheryl Hilten says:

My daughter and I love your video podcast. We are Knittasista and Mootie on Ravelry. You two have almost inspired to to try spinning again. I say almost, but the time may come.

  13. We here at Northampton wools would like to thank you for your purchase of the Lymphoma Doma Hat. Although you have an old version of the information about my sister’s battle i would like to inform you that we lost my sister Heidi on August 27 to her battle with Lenerts Lymphoma. Her picture is featured on the pattern and will always be in our memories. It touched our hearts to see your issue with the hat design and her picture. Thank you again.
    Love always

  16. Hi,

I am the publicist for TNNA and I am working with the Spinning and Weaving Group (SWG) to promote Spinzilla, a community outreach event.

Some committee members said that you spin so we should look into possibly getting someone booked on your podcast. The event kicks off October 7th during Spinning and Weaving Week.

Send me over an email if you are interested in getting more details.

    Thanks,
    Libby
