Episode 376

 

She is knitting the Jord lace vest out of Harrisville Designs Turbine in Gatehouse.

 

Laura is knitting socks. They are out of TurtlePurl Yarns in the “Aim to Misbehave” colorway.   She is also knitting on the Snug baby sweater out of Knitpicks Biggo.  She has swatched for a handspun blanket that will use Patchwork kits.  The pattern is Lily’s Scrap Blanket.  

 

Leslie finished the Shisui Shrug by Suzanne Somer out of Leading Men Fiber Arts in the colors “great sweater debate” and “minty fresh”.  She also finished her So Faded with Jill Draper Makes Stuff in Cerise, Northbound Knitting, and Old Rusted Chair in A Kind of Magic.

 

Laura finished knitting on the Marshmallow Mitts from the Great White North ebook by Tin Can Knits.  She is using some 3-ply handspun out of a batt from KnitSpinFarm.  She also finished an Ice River hat by Helen Stewart out of Lorna’s Laces Cloudgate in the Dowton Abby Christmas colorway.  She also finished the Tough and Toasty mitts by Martina Behm knit out of handspun.  Lastly, she finsihed her Wendy Johnson toe up with a gisset socks out of Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Grimm colorway.

 

Laurafinished some Ramboulette from Hello Yarn in the Breathless Air colorway.  It is a 2 ply bulky of 150 yards.  She also has been spinning on a patchwork kit.

 

Leslie is rereading the InnKeeper Series by Ilona Andrews and listening to book two in the Stormlight Archive..

 

Laura listened to the new Janet Evanovich (24?) Laura has also been reading the Twelve Kindoms series by Jeffe Kennedy.
