Episode 352 – Fool’s Paradise

Leslie is  working on a Zephyr Cove out of With Pointed Sticks in Seafoaming at the Mouth and Soft Kitty.  She started her June DVD socks in Ready Player One colorway and also cast on Birch Sap out of WIPyarns in the Castle Stone Colorway.

 

Laura is knitting socks out of DVD Bing and the Andrews Sisters.  She also cast on Free Your Fade using Tempting Ewe yarns in Stardust, Hedgehog Fibres in Concrete, and Republic of Wool in Phantom.  

 

Leslie finished her Meraki out of Plymouth Nettle.  Mods included adding sleeves and changing the lace pattern to English Mesh Lace.

 

Laura has finished the singles of a merino/silk blend in the Waterweed colorway and ended up with 450yds of a 2ply.  She also spun Into The Whirled BFL and got 365 yards of a 2 ply.  Then there are Hello Yarn Fuse colorway Thick & Thin singles out of Finn, 150 yds.  She also corespun Hobbledehoy Batts on a weaving mohair core, 2.3 out of 4.6 oz, to be chain plied.  Also (jeebus it never ends) she spun Daizieknits 1oz that she is going to spiral ply with unicorn battlings from hobbledehoy.  

 

Leslie finished Three Waters Farm Finn in the Fool’s Paradise colorway.  She got 284 yards of crazy bright yarn.

 

Leslie is still listening to the Kate Daniels series on Audible.  She’s rereading Rhapsodic (Bargainer series) because the second, A Strange Hymn, came out.

 

Laura is listening to The Dark Prophecy, book 2 of the Trials of Apollo Series by Rick Riordan.
