Episode 127 – Runaway Balls

Laura is knitting on  2 pairs of toe up socks.  The first is on size 1.5 needles out of Opal in the Van Gogh series yarn, Night Cafe.  The second is on Signature size 1 needles out of Knitpicks Felici in the Time Traveler colorway. She has also worked on the Quaker Ridge Shawlette out of some Frabjous Fibers handspun in the Tea, Toast, Cake colorway.  She has also started (and restarted) a hat of her own design using Moonshine Fibers in the Dia de los Muertos on size 7 needles.

Leslie is working on striped socks out of Friday Studios in the “Leslie Special” colorway on size 2.25mm needles  She is also working on Evenstar, and is at 37 of the needed 56 edging repeats this week.  She is working on the Pinnate Sweater by Amy Christoffers, and has knit 15” from the bottom up. Leslie cast on the Millie socks to cheer on the Undelivered party of STV.

Laura has finished a  mug cozy for HPKCHC out of some random leftover handspun.

Leslie has finished nothing.

Laura is working on Viola in the Mauve Marauder colorway 50/50 merino/silk.  She has a new spindle and has been spinning a fiber sample from darkstarz.

Leslie has spun 4oz of Cloudlover Superwash Merino in the Violet Hour colorway.  She spun it in less than 2 hours and ended up with 122 yds of a bulky weight, balanced, lofty yarn.
