About Leslie

Leslie is obsessed with knitting, and when possible, perfection in her knitting. All stripey socks must match exactly and all lace must be blocked severely. She has major love for all of her viewers/readers and hopes to keep blogging and podcasting for years to come.

Leslie thanks so much for recommending Pinterest. I am seeing a lot of sewing and organizational projects that are just so inspiring and helpful….The internet in general sucks up my time. I always think that I’m not going to stay online for long…..ha…love you guys….keep recording!!!

I enjoyed this as usual, around 4 am your smiling faces are what keeps me from falling asleep. I like the shawls in the book you reviewed as well as that red sweater. I’m a sucker for a red outdoorsy looking cardigan. Leslie, will we ever get to see this son of yours? Maybe just a still photo? I bet he’s a cutey. I remember stepping on Legos when my brother was little – I’m 13years older and helped raise him as time went along. Little boys are so cute when they get into a project like that and are totally oblivious to anything else. I was latch hooking a rug when I was in nursing school so he was about 6 – and he just wanted to do it SO BAD. We had to buy him a few projects of his own, he got into it pretty big – and he’s still got them in a drawer all finished. That’s a good thing to pull out if you have to entertain a child, it’s something they enjoy. Potholders are good too – I got all my nieces going on potholders but if you do buy the metal frame. My sister walked in one day and one was winding yarn for weaving shuttles, one was weaving potholders and one was sitting at the loom with me. She said ‘what are you doing with my kids running a sweatshop?’ Okay, you caught me. Ooops. I still laugh at that. Well, that was off topic. Anyway, great episode. Thanks for being my O’darkthirty knitting group.

Great show! Loved both books. Our grandsons love the ideas book of LEGO designs. Keeps them occupied for hours. I believe the ebook is called the Charles Collection because of the Charles River in Boston as all the names are places in or near Boston. Thanks for sharing this delightful collection of patterns. Now to go buy LaLa’s mitten KAL.

Hi girllls! Fun episode. I work with “Minty” and was so happy to see you knit her cowl–fun! I’ll have to have her walk me through the whole double knitting process.
Leslie, I love your handspun. So pretty. I don’t spin but am wanting to use some for a sweater yoke and have been having fun looking for stuff I like. You don’t ever sell any, do you? Just curious.
Love the pink sweater too, Laura. Always looking for quick baby knits. So cute.
Just felt like popping and saying hi. Hi.

Of course I have a grandchild on the way so I can’t wait to try them all – Thanks for the tip! I really do look forward to your show – It’s like a special piece of chocolate that I savor- So inspirational – thank you
